I started as an atelier assistant, working closely with the house's pattern maker. Shortly after i've proven through my work, my ability and took over the pattern maker position. as the work is divided between istanbul and paris - the parisian atelier, which i was the head of, was about special "couture" orders. create couture pieces which is exclusive, measuring clients, adjust in client's size, planning the tasks between seamstresses, embroidery companies and interns. besides, be part of the ready to wear collection, i was in charge of some more "complicated" pieces that our artistic director designed. I also had a lot of room of freedom of designing, giving ideas, mock ups and draping which i really enjoyed. as it was a small company i was also involved in sewing, showroom events, archive organisation..
