jacquemus is a young french designer, which i really like the spirit of the brand, and i am glad to have worked on the 10 years celebration of the house's spring/summer 2020 womenswear collection, "le coup de soleil"

as an atelier assistant, i worked on multiple tasks but mostly on draping and pattern making, working step by step and together with the sketches and researches of the design team and also be part of the design process, i had a lot of freedom to create shapes and the back side for exemple, making alterations after fittings, developing samples of details and finishing, contributing to technical sewing solutions, then cut in fabrics and sew by machine/hand the first toiles. also assisting the pattern makers, cutter and seamstresses, being part of all the steps inside the atelier.
